Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product managers, and back-end engineers, to develop innovative user interfaces that align with business goals and user needs.
- Design and implement responsive and accessible web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into fully functional, interactive interfaces.
- Optimise application performance and user experience by implementing efficient and intuitive UI components.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to enhance the overall user experience.
- Continuously refactor and improve existing codebase to maintain code quality, modularity, and scalability.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate back-end functionality with front-end interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a UI Engineer or Front-End Developer.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e. g., React, Angular, Vue.js ).
- Deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e. g., Sass, Less) and build tools (e. g., Webpack, Gulp).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e. g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose creative solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with performance optimisation techniques and tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies and frameworks (e. g., Node.js, Django) is a plus.
