BillionMinds is on a mission to help a billion people find and sustain their personal effectiveness equilibrium - an optimal balance of productivity and wellness. BillionMinds was formed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, based on a simple realization - that life is getting more difficult to navigate every day, and much of it is the fault of technology. Tools built to give us flexibility in our lives have robbed it of all structure, and we are paying a significant *cognitive tax,* just to figure out what to do, when to do it and who to do it with. The result is all around us, record levels of stress, anxiety and depression throughout society. If humans are going to thrive in the next decade and beyond, we believe that technology systems must move beyond helping us with tasks, and towards providing us with the information we need to make great decisions. As they do so, we will be freed up to do what we do best - applying human ingenuity as individuals and in diverse groups to solve problems.
