Assembly OSM, a leader in innovative urban development, is looking for a seasoned Director of Acquisitions and Capital Markets. In this pivotal role, you'll drive our growth by focusing on ground-up multifamily acquisitions and navigating the complex capital markets landscape. With a keen eye for sustainable and scalable urban development, you'll be instrumental in sourcing and financing projects that align with our vision. A minimum of 10 years of experience in multifamily real estate acquisitions, investment, and capital markets, coupled with a deep understanding of the New York City market, will position you for success in this role.
- Spearhead Assembly OSM's multifamily acquisition efforts, identifying and evaluating potential properties for development.
- Lead the capital markets strategy, managing the sourcing, structuring, and procurement of debt and equity financing.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with investors, lenders, and other key stakeholders in the capital markets.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of acquisitions, from initial analysis and due diligence to closing deals.
- Develop comprehensive financial models and presentations for potential acquisitions and capital raising efforts.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure alignment of acquisition strategies with overall company goals.
- Stay abreast of market trends, providing insights and recommendations to guide Assembly OSM's acquisition and financing decisions.
- Play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction and growth in the multifamily real estate sector.
- A strategic thinker with a strong background in multifamily real estate acquisitions and capital markets.
- Skilled in negotiating and closing complex real estate transactions.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with an exceptional ability to assess investment opportunities.
- An effective communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Detail-oriented while maintaining a focus on the bigger strategic picture.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in multifamily real estate acquisitions and capital markets.
- A proven track record of successful acquisitions and capital raising in the multifamily real estate sector.
- Expertise in financial analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
Salary Range: $200-250k/year, based on experience.
